For Visitors
Bangpot is a curated events discovery platform for Bangkok and Thailand. We list events at cannabis-friendly venues — everything from World Cup screenings and live music to markets, food nights, and cultural events. One place, all in one go.
We don't sell anything, we don't promote the use of cannabis, and we have no affiliation with any products. We simply help you discover events at venues that are cannabis-friendly.
Yes. Bangpot is completely free for visitors. Browse events, explore venues, save the ones you're interested in, and find your way there — no account required, no sign-up, no friction.
No. Bangpot works without an account. You can browse all events and venues, tap Interested on events you want to track, and use every feature on the platform without signing up.
It means the venues listed on Bangpot are open to guests who consume cannabis. It does not mean cannabis is sold, distributed, or provided at these venues. Each venue operates under its own rules and in compliance with local laws and regulations. Bangpot is a discovery platform — we do not sell, supply, or directly promote cannabis use.
Thai law and regulations around cannabis are the responsibility of each individual venue and visitor. Bangpot does not provide legal advice and we do not take a position on cannabis legislation. If you have questions about what is and isn't permitted, please check with the venue directly or consult official Thai government sources before attending any event.
Yes. Bangpot is intended for adults aged 20 and above, in line with Thai regulations around cannabis. Individual venues may have their own age policies — always check with the venue before attending.
Bangpot launches in Bangkok. The platform is built to cover all of Thailand and will expand to other cities as we grow.
Use the Map tab to see events and venues on an interactive map. You can toggle between Events and Venues, and filter events by the next 7, 14, or 30 days. The map is centered on Bangkok's Thonglor/Ekkamai area where most venues are currently located.
Tapping Interested on an event lets you express that you want to go. It's anonymous — we don't ask for your name or email. The count is visible to everyone, so venues and other visitors can see how much interest an event is generating. You can tap again to remove your interest.
Yes. On any event page, tap the calendar icon to add it to Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, or Outlook. The event will appear in your local time automatically.
Not necessarily. Events on Bangpot can be free or paid — this is set by the venue. Paid events will clearly show a price and, where available, a link to buy tickets. Free events have no price listed. Bangpot does not handle ticket sales — any ticket purchases happen directly through the venue or their ticketing provider.
Events are submitted and managed by venues directly. Bangpot reviews submissions before they go live, but we recommend confirming details with the venue before attending, especially for paid events.
We take complaints seriously. You can reach us through our support page where you can submit feedback, suggestions, or a formal complaint about a specific venue. Venues on Bangpot are held to a standard — reports are reviewed and acted on.
Subscribe to the Bangpot weekly digest at the bottom of the homepage. We send a curated selection of the best upcoming events in Bangkok. No spam, unsubscribe anytime.
For Venues & Partners
Bangpot is a discovery platform that puts your venue and your events in front of an audience actively looking for cannabis-friendly experiences in Bangkok. You control your profile, your events, and how you present yourself — we handle the distribution.
All venues start on a Free listing — you're on the map and in the directory with your name and area. To unlock a full custom profile, photos, direct Google Maps link, and the ability to post paid events, you upgrade to a paid tier.
| Tier | Price | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | Listed on map and directory, name and area visible, directions via Google search |
| Verified | $50 one-time | Full custom profile: photos, description, opening hours, social links, verified badge, direct Google Maps link, can post paid events |
| Partner | $150 one-time | Everything in Verified + partner code for direct event publishing (no approval queue needed) |
| Combo | $180 one-time | Verified + Partner together at a combined rate |
All fees are one-time. No monthly subscription, no renewal, no hidden costs.
Bangpot was built in collaboration with a small group of Bangkok venues who believed in the concept before it existed. These venues contributed financially to the initial development of the platform — making it possible to build what you see today. In recognition of that, they carry a permanent "Founding Partner" label on their profiles.
The Founding Partner label is an honorary badge. It signals to visitors that this venue was part of building Bangpot from the ground up — not that they received something for free. Founding Partners hold Verified + Partner tier, receive prominent placement across the platform, and have direct event publishing rights.
The Founding Partner programme is closed. It was specific to the pre-launch development phase and is not available to new venues.
The verified badge (a green checkmark next to your venue name) tells visitors that your profile has been reviewed and approved by the Bangpot team. Verified venues have a complete profile — photos, opening hours, description, and a direct Google Maps link — so visitors always know what to expect before they arrive.
Venues can list or upgrade directly through our submission form on the platform. If your venue is already listed on Bangpot, you can also find it in the directory and click "Claim or upgrade this listing" — this will take you straight to the form.
The form will guide you through everything needed: your venue details, assets, and the tier you want to apply for. Once submitted, we review your application and get back to you within 24–48 hours. Payment is processed via QR code — the Thai standard payment method — once your application is approved.
To set up a full profile you will need:
- Header image — landscape, minimum 1400×700px, PNG or JPEG, max 3MB
- Logo — PNG with transparent background, 200×200px, max 1MB
- Short description — a paragraph in English about your venue
- Opening hours — your weekly schedule
- Full address — including a Google Maps link or Plus Code
- Coordinates — lat/lng for your map pin (we can help with this)
- Social links — Instagram handle and website URL
- Up to 5 carousel photos — optional but strongly recommended, same spec as header image
Free venues can submit events through the Submit form on the platform. Submissions go through a review process before going live. Partner venues with a partner code can publish events directly — they go live immediately without review.
Yes, if you are on the Verified, Partner, or Combo tier. Free venues cannot post paid events. This ensures that any event with a ticket price is backed by a venue with a verified, complete profile.
A partner code is a unique code (BKK-XXXX format) issued to Partner and Founding Partner venues. It allows you to publish events directly to the platform without waiting for approval. It also raises your submission rate limit to 10 events per day. Partner codes are confidential — do not share them publicly.
- Partner / Founding Partner venues: Immediately upon submission using your partner code.
- Free and Verified venues: Within 24–48 hours after review.
Bangpot profiles are managed by us, not by venues directly. This is intentional — it keeps the platform consistent, accurate, and curated.
If you need to update any information on your profile (description, hours, photos, social links, etc.), contact us and we will make the change for you. Profile updates are available at a flat fee of ฿1,000 per update session. An update session covers all changes requested in a single submission — so group your changes together.
We ask that all information provided is accurate at the time of submission. Bangpot is not responsible for outdated information that has not been flagged for update.
Direct publish is a privilege. If events are submitted that do not meet Bangpot's curation standards — spam, misleading information, or content that violates platform rules — your direct publish rights will be revoked immediately. Your venue will remain listed but all future submissions will go through the standard review queue. There is no refund in this case.
All listing fees are one-time and non-refundable. Payment is processed via QR code once your application is approved. We recommend reaching out before upgrading if you have any questions — we're happy to walk you through what each tier includes.
Events must be real, accurately described, and held at your listed venue. Events cannot be misleading about pricing, location, or what's included. Cannabis may not be the primary product being sold or advertised in the event listing — Bangpot lists events at cannabis-friendly venues, not cannabis sales events.
Yes. The platform is built for Thailand. Bangkok is the launch city and other cities will follow as the platform grows.
Use the support page on the platform. Whether you have a question about your listing, want to report an issue, or want to discuss a partnership — we're reachable there.
